a lesson from a child psychologist...

A simple practice, that deserves repeating, which a child psychologist friend of ours teaches the kids that come to see her (It's helpful for adults too, maybe even more so).

When you feel panicked, scared, or angry.

STOP.. take a couple of deep breaths.

THINK .. Use that super-evolved frontal cortex of yours.

CHOOSE ..  we can choose our path, our actions, and our re-actions.

Get skin in the game, stop, think, choose.
