self fabricating

Do you know what happens to the breakfast you just ate? It’s not just fuel for your body. It becomes your body. Your body is continually making itself, building, growing, and replacing cells by using what you put in your mouth.

That rusk becomes you.

You make you.

This is one of the characteristics of life. Non-life, like a car, for example, cannot do this. The fuel you put in the car does not become the car. This was part of a presentation by a biologist I was listening to last week, I realised that this, of course, is about much more than just biology.

You are making you, you are primarily responsible for building not just your body, but your life.

So stop waiting, stop blaming, stop making excuses, and start building.

Get skin in the game, build.
