One of my brother's favourite quotes is

"Things are never as they appear, nor are they otherwise."

Simply put, we don't know why things are the way they are, what somebody's agenda is in a meeting, what is going on behind the curtain.

There are things that you know you don't know, and that's fine.

Accept the limits of your knowledge, do the best you can with what you know, that's all any of us are asked to do.
