Hope

After Notre Dame was ransacked and burnt during the French Revolution oak trees were planted in Versailles, in case it ever happened again, to provide wood for the roof and specifically for the spire.

This story emerged on twitter yesterday after the devastating fire that nearly gutted the landmark on Monday.

When I read it, it struck me how incredibly resilient we are as human beings.

We plan, we build, and we will rebuild.

We are at our best when things are at their worst.

Get skin in the game, be human, rebuild.
