Noticing..

Another part of the discernment process for me is to pay attention to what is showing up in my life at present. I've learnt over the years that often the things that come towards you almost effortlessly are more important and significant than those you seek out and fight to get. (note: sometimes, not always.. sometimes when the door closes a window doesn't open and you have to go headfirst through a wall, but that is another email).

One of these little gems I heard last night from my friend David, "You can't eat the Seder* with a fistful of grapes", apparently an old rabbinic saying meaning, that we are provided with the raw materials, but it's our job to make the wine.

Design is a mandate.

What is showing up in your life recently, if you take a step back, what is seeking you out?

Pierre

*The Hebrew word “seder” translates to “order,” and the Passover seder is a home ritual blending religious rituals, food, song and storytelling. Families hold a seder on the first and sometimes the second night of Passover. Wine is an important part of the meal.
