There are things you know that you know,

things you know you don't know,

things you don't know you don't know,

and then there are things you don't know you know.

These last things that you don't know you know are the things that make you prosper or fail, they are the ones directing your life.

There are obvious ones to spot like, ideologies, politics, culture, and more slippery ones like religion and your subconscious.

Jung wrote that unless you make the unconscious conscious it will direct your life and you will call it fate.
