What are you peeing away?

My friend Thomas told me this interesting bit of history over the weekend; that urine was used to clean clothes in ancient Rome. They collected the liquid gold from public urinals and those who traded in urine had to pay a tax. In fact, it was widely used as a ‘detergent’ till quite recently. Stale urine was especially prized because of it’s high ammonia content that gave it the ability to get out tough stains.

I was also used to clean your teeth.

Got me thinking, there is treasure in waste, perhaps take a careful look at what is going down the proverbial toilet.

Get skin in the game.
