You might have noticed that I've been a tad quieter on my blog and email, the reason being I'm in the process of discerning the next step for my career, work-life, vocation.

So, I thought I'd share the process here.

It start with a simple question, and probably the most difficult one in creation

What do I want?

That takes much thinking, much journaling and doodling.

My default is to first go to others and ask them what I should be doing, that is part of the process (a bit later), but it can also be an excuse to take responsibility for my own path.

What do I want?

Trevor Hudson, the Methodist preacher and activist, always says:

Desire is your bus ticket home.
