Money is a story.
Last week I did a talk for the good people at Adviceworx on change, chaos, and why mystery matters.
During the talk, I digressed as I often do and commented: “Money is a story.” which maybe deserves a little more explanation.
We all tell ourselves stories about money, how hard or easy it is to get it, why some have it and others don’t, what you have to do to keep it, and what it means when you have it or don’t have it.
What do the people you seek to serve, your customers, followers, or fans, tell themselves about money? Or, if not about money, what stories do they tell themselves when they engage with what you build?
Some decent questions to mull over this week.
