Hi,
I'm Pierre.
I care about two things: the things we build and the people we become.
As I've walked through life, I've dived deep into the mad and mysterious world of human behaviour. Why do we do what we do, buy what we buy, and say what we say?
By shedding light into those dark corners of the human psyche, I offer insights that can present businesses with strategies to navigate a chaotic and complex world. From getting a grip on chaos to upping engagement in teams, my goal is to simplify complex research and trends and make it actionable.
I started my career in fashion and design then moved to marketing, startups, theology, human development, and edutech, I've kept on learning (ABR, Always Be Reading!) Alongside being a perpetual student, the only label I’ll probably stick on my chest is 'teacher', distilling found wisdom and knowledge to solve real-world problems.
My talks and writing blend philosophy, sociology, strategy, behaviour science, and pop culture to break apart old beliefs and create new opportunities.
During the pandemic, I launched The Palaestra—an online community of practice—because I know the power of collective learning and shared accountability in a community of like-minded people.
In a nutshell, I’m all about people. I love the craziness that makes us human, and I want us to be better people, do great work together, build ridiculously successful businesses, and build things that matter.
That is why I do talks, I write books and a daily letter, I run Be Brave, a business that builds teams, and I collaborate with businesses in all sorts of ways.
To steal shamelessly from one of my heroes, Parker Palmer, 'I don’t have an elevator pitch, I take the stairs. Do you want to walk with me?
