spending your time..

In the introduction to Beyond Good and Evil, the great work by Nietzsche, the editor writes that during the last part of his life Nietzsche spent his time thinking and writing.

I love that line.

We don't spend enough time thinking, or any time thinking, we spend our days consuming content, mostly rubbish.

Put a slot in your diary just for thinking. Take the time you would've spent commuting and turn some of it into thinking time, make yourself a cup of something.. and sit down, no book, no phone, no nothing and think.

Get skin in the game, use that brain.
