A Metcon of a Meditation session
I had a really crappy meditation session this morning. My mind was all over the place, I rewrote this email about 20 times in my head, did our monthly budget, rearranged about three to-do lists...
About that pole in the drive way
When people lose control of their vehicles they tend to almost always hit something, a tree, a road sign, or the only lamppost on the street. Perhaps you have experienced this too? Why does this happen? Well, my theory is that in a crisis we focus our attention on something and then we can’t let it go.
Do this little exercise with me quickly, I heard it yesterday on Tara Brach’s podcast.

So it's my 20 year highschool reunion in three months time, and I really, really want a six pack, mostly to prove to myself that a 38 year dad doesn't need to look like santa, and I only train when I have a goal, however silly.
(Then I just need to figure out a way to take my shirt of at the reunion..., I'll post a pic if I make it. :)
