the most misquoted person...

Like most, I love a good quote, my talks are packed with them, especially an Einstein quote.. it's just that most things that get attributed to Einstein he either never said, or never said in that way.

"I never said that"- Einstein.

I love this quote below, you may have heard it start with: "Do not grow old, no matter how long you live" and it's great in that format, but I like the original a little better. It makes him sound less like a monk dishing out advice and more like a human, a friend relishing with a friend, and maybe even a tad haughty.

"People like you and I, though mortal of course like everyone else, do not grow old no matter how long we live. What I mean is we never cease to stand like curious children before the great Mystery into which we were born." - Albert Einstein in a letter to Otto Julius Birger, September 29, 1942.

Look for the original. :)
