another new year post. :)

Every year or two I have my portrait taken. Almost all of them have been taken by my friend Bernard Brand. This last one is part of his In Rainbows Portrait series.

I wish I can say I enjoy getting older. It always sounds so noble when people say that. I think I may be too much of a Westerner, I do not want to go gentle into that good night, my default is to rage against the dying of the light.

I'm not one for New Year's resolutions either. I prefer a New Year's posture, stance and gait. How do I want to stand, approach and walk this year.
