Have a little faith

I believe that each of us has something unique that we bring to the world. A thing that is our calling, vocation, passion or purpose.

And it is more than a career or a specific job.

As Jung said, our biggest purpose in life is to become, to become our true selves, to grow up and into who we are meant to be.

I talk about this in Monster, Heroes, and Kings, lessons on leadership. This is easily my most difficult talk to do and to hear, it is not easy. It is not easy to look at oneself honestly, and see how much we have taken on that is not us, and is not our purpose.

But when we discover what we are supposed to be doing, what we are called too, the path starts opening up, one stepping stone at a time. And we need to have faith, faith that you have something to add, faith that you are part of a bigger story, faith that you have a role to play. Even if is just as little as a mustard seed.

Get skin in the game, have faith.
