Do you know why humans are born so early, just about every other mammal can walk out of the womb, but it takes us at least a year to learn to walk?

We are born early for two reasons, both connected to our brains.

One, our heads are really big and won't fit through the birth canal at 1 year old.

Second, a big chunk of our brains' development happens outside of the womb, in relationships with other human beings.

Human beings that cared enough about you to not let you die in those early years.

The point being, if you are reading this, someone cared enough about you to raise you and protect you, and probably still does.

So make it count.
