Tantrums

Quite recently I've come to realise that much of what I do is an attempt to get what I want, even if what I do is making me miserable.

Like a toddler throwing a tantrum I choose to be anxious thinking that in someway that will create the outcome I desire.

If I worry enough things will be okay.

If I'm anxious enough, something will show up.

If I'm depressed enough, someone will notice.

There are better ways to get what I desire, which doesn't involve tantrums.

What are you trying to get with your tantrum, hoping someone notices the noise?
