Their reaction, your invitation

On a hike this morning a friend and I started talking about how when sometimes you risk doing the thing you need to do grow it doesn't get received the way you'd like., For example, when you know you need to open up more, be more vulnerable and then someone doesn't accept that, honour that, or even mocks your attempt, how that is inviting you to choose.

To choose to either close up and not try again, or see it as an invitation to commit to your journey, stick to your guns, in spite of someone's reaction.

St Ignatius taught that God comes to us as our entire lives, constantly inviting us to grow.

May you see each reaction to your journey, as an invitation to push further.
