three 'story' questions

Here are three questions that will send you on a quest. These three questions are the basic questions that frame every story and they will help you get clarity and plot a course in life and work.

Who is the character?

it is you, your business, or your customer? Different characters have different paths, make sure you know which one you are actually writing a story for.

What does she want?

Really, really truly want. The trick with this question is the thing behind the thing, what is the reason behind the want?

What is standing in her way?

What is the obstacle, the thing that is blocking your character from their desire?

Answer these three and you will have the beginning of an adventure.
